Where to Donate Clothes in Wentzville: A Simple Guide

If you've ever stared at an overflowing closet and wondered where to donate clothes in Wentzville, you're not alone. Donating gently used clothing is one of the easiest, most impactful ways to give back to your community — and at Mary Martha Thrift Shop, we make it simple. Located at 9 W Koenig St in Wentzville, MO, we've been turning donated clothing into community support for years, with 100% of our proceeds funding charitable awards across St. Charles County and surrounding areas.
What Clothing We Accept
We gratefully accept gently used clothing for the whole family:
- Women's clothing — tops, pants, dresses, skirts, coats, and more
- Men's clothing — shirts, pants, jackets, and workwear
- Children's clothing — from infant sizes through teens
- Shoes and accessories — handbags, belts, hats, scarves, and jewelry
We also accept household goods, toys and games, books and media, and small kitchenware. The key is that items should be clean, gently used, and in sellable condition. A good rule of thumb: if you'd give it to a friend, it's perfect for donation.
What We Cannot Accept
To keep our shop running smoothly and safely, there are a few items we're unable to accept:
- Furniture — we don't have the space to display large pieces
- Large appliances and electronics like TVs and computers
- Mattresses
If you have furniture or large items, we recommend contacting other local charities or recycling options in the St. Charles County area.
When and Where to Donate
Donations are accepted during our regular store hours at our Wentzville location:
- Tuesday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Thursday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Friday & Saturday: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
We're closed Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday for restocking. When you arrive, there's a main entrance for clothing and a second entrance along the side street with a separate checkout for home goods and craft supplies. Our friendly volunteers are always happy to help you unload.
How Your Clothing Donations Help
Here's what makes donating to Mary Martha so powerful: your clothing doesn't just get resold — it transforms into direct support for our neighbors. In 2025, our charitable awards reached $217,632, supporting more than 30 local organizations including food pantries, shelters, schools, and healthcare programs across St. Charles County.
When you donate a bag of clothes, you might be helping:
- Caring and Sharing Food Pantry provide groceries to families
- Birthright of Wentzville purchase items for new moms and babies
- Sleep in Heavenly Peace build beds for children who don't have one
- Wentzville School District stock clothing and toiletries for students in need
It's a beautiful cycle: your donations become affordable finds for shoppers, and the proceeds become real, tangible help for people right here in our community.
