Immanuel Lutheran Church: Energy, Rent, and Mission Support
Immanuel Lutheran Church and School, located at 632 East Highway N in Wentzville, Missouri, is one of the seven local churches that support Mary Martha Thrift Shop — and also one of our charitable award recipients. Mary Martha's awards to Immanuel Lutheran Church fund donations to Grace Chapel School and LINC, as well as payments to Ameren Missouri for energy assistance, rent, gasoline, and Spire gas bills for various clients in need.
Practical Help for Neighbors in Crisis
Immanuel Lutheran Church's outreach focuses on the essentials that keep a household running: energy, heat, rent, and transportation. By making direct payments to Ameren Missouri and Spire on behalf of clients, the church helps families avoid utility shut-offs during the coldest and hottest months. Rent assistance helps keep neighbors housed, and gasoline assistance helps them get to work and appointments.
Beyond direct client assistance, Immanuel Lutheran also directs funds to Grace Chapel School and LINC, extending their impact through partnerships with other community organizations. This layered approach — helping individuals directly while also strengthening partner ministries — multiplies the good that every dollar can do.
